This husband and wife duo are Abner Ramirez and Amanda Sudano, who, in case you were wondering, also just happens to be the daughter of Donna Summers. There is a lot of confusion surrounding the origin of the name “Johnnyswim”–everything from a homage to Jaws dialogue to a childhood goldfish, and even Ramirez himself being mauled by a loose cat.

I am particularly affixed to their performance on “Live at Daryl’s,” but I swear by anything SerialBox and nothing beats a good, close-up and intimate sit-down performance.
